Data and Strategy Part 1:
Building a data culture

The building blocks of impactful data strategy lie in an organisation's culture - specifically, its data culture. In this unit: What data culture is, and why people make one major mistake when trying to cultivate it.

What is a data culture?

It can be difficult to define, purely because it spans so many areas and involves so many different functions of an organisation. Fortunately, our very own CSO Steve has distilled its essence with a tasty analogy.

The biggest data culture mistake

It sounds a bit YouTube thumbnail, but this really is the biggest mistake organisations tend to make when building a data culture. At best, it can prevent you from demonstrating results fast; at worst, it will cause the whole process to grind to a halt.
