How permissions are set within the Wordnerds platform 
Permissions in the Wordnerds platform work on a project-level. This means all users with access to a project will be able to view and edit all themes, reports, visualisations, and data uploads.
 
When adding a new user, what the user will be able to view and edit will be determined by the projects they have access to. 
 

💡 Tip: Separate projects are great for teams analysing different data sets.

For example, your People Team may be analysing Employee Surveys, whereas your CX Team will be analysing customer surveys: it makes sense for separate projects with specialised theme frameworks to be used. In this example, if you then wanted to be able to look for insight comparing the employee and customer data, set up a third project with both data sets and a tailored theme framework. 

 


 
Adding a new user to an existing project
Your super admin can add a new user to an existing project by navigating to the admin panel, locating the relevant project, and adding a user from there.
 
If your CSM is your super admin simply email them directly, or support@wordnerds.ai, with the email address, name for your new user, and the project/s you want them to have access to.

What's the difference between a regular user and a super admin user?

Wordnerds is designed so that all users have access to valuable features and the ability to add and export data, and create, edit, and manage Themes, however, as permissions are controlled at a Project-level, users will only see and have access to the Projects they've been added to. This is perfect for keeping work separate when needed, such as employee and customer surveys.
 
Super Admins have access to all projects and are able to access additional admin features that other users can't.
 
Specifically:
Create, edit, and delete Projects
Create, edit, and delete Users
Create, edit, and delete Frameworks
Copy or Mimic Themes between Projects
 
Who is the super admin for my organisation?
 
Your super admin is a nominated user for your organisation or your Customer Success Manager. If you're not sure, just ask us or your main Wordnerds contact in your organisation. 
 
How do I become a super admin?
 
To become a super admin, please contact your Customer Success Manager. They’ll share the agreement for you to review and sign, reach out to them to get things started.
